LINKEDIN ANNOUNCES A NEW FEATURE TO HELP FREELANCERS
LinkedIn has started testing its new feature which allows freelancers to list their services so they are visible to potential clients. Thanks to this feature, relevant freelancers show up in the search feed and can be found by recruiters. Therefore, this service is available for business owners as well. LinkedIn management has announced that the new main focus of the company will be increasing the probability of the right recruiter-job seeker match.
Since the freelance market has been developing rapidly and successfully, it’s only logical that a platform with over half a billion users would jump into that trendy wagon. For business, there is an opportunity to ‘Find a Service Provider’. The system will ask you to fill out a concise form to specify what kind of service you’re looking for. The program also uses hashtags to make the search faster and more efficient. As we’ve already stated, this option is still being tested and will be officially launched after it proves its effectiveness.
